报告摘要:
Topological Josephson junctions are distinct from conventional ones in that they host Majorana bound states which form a two-level quantum system, the so-called Majorana qubit. The energies of the two levels are depending on the Josephson phase shift across the junction, while reversely the effective potential for the phase shift is controlled by the quantum state of the Majorana qubit. We build a quantum RCSJ model to describe the correlation between the Majorana qubit and the classical phase shift. Within this model, we systematically study the properties of the topological junction, including the I-V characteristics, the Josephson radiation, and the Shapiro steps. We also demonstrate how to use injected current to control the phase shift in the junction and build quantum gates for the Majorana qubit.
报告人简介:王志,男,2010年获得北京师范大学博士学位,2010年至2012年在日本物质材料研究机构作博士后,2012年至今任中山大学beat365体育官方网站副教授。研究领域包括高温超导电性理论、介观超导体系、拓扑超导体系等,目前的主要研究兴趣在拓扑超导隧道结中的动力学理论。
